Dayana Kanazireva was a motivational guest speaker at the opening of the academic year of the Department of Economics of Tourism at UNWE. In front of first-year students, lecturers, and business representatives, she spoke on the topic “The Entrepreneurial Spirit in Tourism.”
As an alumna of the department, Dayana shared her perspective on entrepreneurship – not only through successes, but also through challenges, mistakes, and the need to be persistent, resilient, and adaptable. As an example, she spoke about her work on OKOL Lake Park and the challenges behind creating a new tourism destination.
In her speech, she also addressed the role of artificial intelligence and the changes ahead in tourism, encouraging students to remain curious, courageous, and ready to use new technologies without losing their ability to think independently and understand people.
